Okay, the Waco Tea Party Team (yes we ROCK!) is SO excited about the Tea Party Express's stop in Waco today! Kevin Jackson, a friend of mine, is going to ROCK THE HOUSE at Indian Spring Park with his strong appeal for individual responsibility by all Americans, regardless of race, ethnicity or economic background.
And our very own Garret Lewis of Newstalk 1230 radio is emceeing the event! When Garret talks, Chet listens! The conservative and controversial "Voice of Waco" will have fun with the motivated crowd. So, get off the couch and come on down to the picturesque park on the Brazos River across from the Hilton and experience history. Join in America's second great revolution as we start our march to Washington, D.C., to take our country back.
From Waco, the Tea Party Express will go on to Dallas on Friday and continue its cross-country tour on Sept. 12 in the nation's capitol. A huge protest is planned in D.C. on that day. Stay tuned. Many of us will be there and will have a first-person account of all the exciting events and speeches. Toby is speaking at the Freedom Plaza, Carol is carrying the flag for Texas and many others in the Waco area will be there to March with them to Capitol Hill! Central Texas will be well represented.
Activities begin sharp at 4 p.m. today and continue until the last participant leaves. We'll be there as long
as you are, so come prepared! Fox News wants to do a live remote, if you stick around we'll show America true Texan spirit!
A side note: We Tea Party people and Town Hall participants were bad-mouthed (again) Wednesday on the website at www.mybarackobama.com. Now they're saying all of us hard-working taxpayers are "right-wing domestic terrorists." Did you get that? "Right-wing domestic terrorists." Another in a lengthy list of incendiary labels by a progressive administration gone-wild. Another dark vision of America's future; another Orwellian political message that continues to show contempt for the backbone of this great country.
We are not extremists. We are not terrorists. We are Americans. God bless America!
